Copyrights

All images on our site are either licensed or in the public domain. As a general rule, most works enter the public domain because of their advanced age.

However, our database contains over 30,000 images and errors do happen! If you find any image that you believe is under copyright protection, please contact us IMMEDIATELY and the image will be removed. Replicarte respects copyright laws, and any copyrighted image found in our database is immediately removed.

Acceptance for custom orders:

For custom orders, you attest that you own the necessary copyrights for the reproduction of any provided images (that the image is in the public domain or that you have permission to reproduce it) and that you grant us the right to reproduce it.

Replicarte paints derivative works on behalf of clients based on photographs provided by the client or stock images of public domain masterpieces.

Our paintings are not photographic reproductions and will differ from the original in size, signature, brushstrokes, and other details.

The responsibility for ensuring that the image is in the public domain, that the use falls within fair use provisions, or that any copyright permissions have been granted remains with the client.
